It’s time to see old patterns of leadership – to break with the poor ones – and to build upon the good ones!
By following women leaders and entrepreneurs (state builders, pirates, home front workers) throughout history we get a picture of how entrepreneurship evolved – and how different circumstances and regulations prevented and enabled it to do so such as tax law, inheritance rights, trading rights and war.
Winston Churchill argued that the more we know about our history the more easily we can probably also predict the future. Safely anchored in the past, we see how important it is to build upon the past and to take advantage of everyone’s skills and develop diversity in all kinds of board work now and in the future.
